State/UT-wise list of Nodal Higher Educational Institutions

As communicated by the Ministry of Education, Government of India (Annexure-I of the D.O. letter of 31 October 2026): the Nodal Higher Educational Institution of each State/UT for the Students' Engagement Programme of Kashi Tamil Sangamam 5.0 (Thirukkural Payilvom). Registration is open to institutions without any State/UT-wise ceiling. The figures above indicate the final number of Participating Institutions to be selected by the respective Nodal Institution in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedure (Annexure-V). Registration does not by itself confer selection. Annexure-I pairs Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu with Gujarat; Lakshadweep with Kerala; Chandigarh with Punjab; Andaman and Nicobar Islands with Tamil Nadu; Ladakh with Jammu and Kashmir. The institutions of these Union Territories register with their own Union Territory and are selected by the Nodal Institution of the State, within the number prescribed for the two together. All interested higher educational institutions (Central/State/Private Universities and Colleges) register on this portal (Register › Register your institution) up to 15 November 2026. The Nodal Institution of each State/UT scrutinises them and selects the prescribed number on 16 and 17 November 2026, with a reserve list; each selected Participating Institution assesses its interested students by 19 November and nominates one on merit by 20 November 2026.
