Stipend: how to give your bank details

Each of the 1,000 selected students is given a stipend of ₹10,000 for the one-month internship. It is paid by bank transfer to the student's own bank account. The selected students give their bank details in the candidate portal, in the steps below.

The form for the bank details opens for the selected students after the merit list is published.
1

Check that you are selected

Only the students of the final selected list give bank details. The merit list is published on this portal, and the application status page shows your result.

Keep these ready

  • the name of the bank and of the branch
  • your Aadhaar number (12 digits)
  • a photo or PDF of a cancelled cheque or of the first page of your passbook that shows your name, the account number and the IFSC (PDF, JPG or PNG, under 2 MB)

4

Fill in the form and send it

Type every entry in English letters (A-Z) and digits, as printed in your passbook. Type the account number twice. Upload the proof, read and tick the three declarations, and send the form before the last date.

5

Wait for the check

Once sent, the details cannot be changed. CICT checks them against your proof. If something is wrong, CICT returns them with a note on the same page: correct them and send them again. Look at the page from time to time.

6

Payment

When the details are approved, the stipend is paid by bank transfer into that account. The page then shows that it is paid, with the date and the payment reference.

Please note

  • One account is paid for one student only: the same account cannot be given by two students.
  • CICT never asks for your bank password, PIN, OTP or card number, by phone, e-mail or message. Never share them with anybody.
